Being a parent is not an easy job; in fact, it is the hardest job there is.  Whether you are transitioning to being a new mom or dad, parenting several kids with different needs (including special needs), or trying to balance the “parent load” which includes family responsibilities, work commitments, and having a personal life, you are struggling to cope. You might feel isolated, lonely, or simply unhappy. Your stress levels are high, feelings of anxiousness omnipresent, and your relationships are suffering. Whether you are in a new relationship or have been in a partnership for years, relationships can be draining; they require effort, dedication, and a willingness to work hard. However, relationships can also be rewarding, feel amazing, and bring joy into your life. With the right support, couples therapy can help you learn how to communicate effectively, resolve your conflicts, and build meaningful and lasting connections. Couples therapy is an opportunity to work on your relationship strength, and it provides you with a safe space to be seen, heard, and validated so you can relate to yourself and your partner on a deeper, more satisfying level. GROUPS

group therapy

Group therapy is a transformative experience where you can connect with others who may be experiencing similar challenges, and leverage support. There is great healing power in a shared human experience. Additionally, group therapy is a more cost-effective option than individual counselling. Group therapy may be either psychoeducational in focus or be a more therapy-based experience. If you are interested in group therapy, connect for more details.
